The NLINK Auto-Doc Module automatically generates mapping diagrams that represent the configuration of an NLINK integration project.
These drawings are created from the NLINK configuration itself, so they are always accurate and complete. Drawings are interactive, allowing the user to control how much detail is shown and which aspects of the configuration are exposed or hidden.

How does SAP integrate with third-party systems?
SAP has been around for a long time and has a very extensive, robust and mature API ecosystem. Over the years, various technologies have been added, ranging from IDocs to RFCs and BAPIs, to Web Services, to REST and OData. The NLINK Server can consume and generate all of these different formats so that customers can choose and use the most appropriate methods for their unique use cases.
How do we ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated SAP modules?
Make conscious decisions about your “system of truth” and try hard not to duplicate data any more than is absolutely necessary, preferably not at all. Use a good test environment, with realistic data. Pay attention to errors and alerts from the system, and understand how to recover or reprocess data appropriately.
How does the integration support compliance with industry standards and regulations?
NLINK supports a wide variety of industry standard communication methods and protocols. Additionally, when it comes to SAP, NLINK connects as a standard SAP user, which means that all authentication and authorization is handled by the SAP system. And, since NLINK does not permanently store any customer data, almost all of the compliance and data storage regulations do not apply. Regulated industries require, among other things, strong documentation and traceability of process change. NLINK’s self-documenting capabilities and centralization of configuration into a single file significantly simplify such compliance.
What is the impact on system performance and response times?
Large transfers are generally scheduled to run periodically during low-use times. Usually even large transfers do not have much impact on big systems such as SAP. For interactive transfers, such as postings from mobile devices, network latency is usually the limiting factor.
What kind of support and training will be needed for our team?
If you are going to do your own NLINK configuration, we offer 3-day or 5-day remote training courses to help you learn how to use the NLINK Configuration Module and the specific Connectors you have purchased. If we are doing your configuration, your designated NLINK administrators need only watch a few videos and read some high-level documentation. Hands-on training is provided during the deployment to make sure the appropriate personnel are completely comfortable with running and monitoring the interfaces and how to contact customer support if necessary.
