NLINK has allowed us integrate our customers' systems faster

SERVICES OVERVIEW

Whether you are planning to embed the NLINK technology into your own software application, planning to purchase one of the NLINK solution sets (such as the NLINK OPC to SAP Solution) or you are planning to use NLINK to integrate your back-office systems at your place of business; Junot Systems integration consulting services help you succeed with NLINK. Unlike other software companies we do not merely sell you technology, that's just the start. We back up our technology by providing access to our NLINK integration experts, our SAP technical and functional experts backed by our in-house SAP and Oracle ERP systems.

IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES
Junot Systems offers integration services to meet customers’ business needs. This covers gathering initial project requirements, functional analysis of the requirements, all the way through to final testing in the production environment. The implementation services may sometimes involve consultant visits to customer sites but most projects do not require this and are performed completely at Junot Systems’ offices. Our goal is to deliver the best integration solution that will manage your business environment without creating custom code. Our field-proven integration methodology accelerates time to deployment while significantly reducing the risk and delivered cost of NLINK integration projects.

Our integration methodology consists of the following project phases. You choose which ones (if any) you want to use:

  • Planning and Design – Defining the Project Scope, including the objectives, deliverables, timelines, cost, project assumptions, and functional requirements. Develop comprehensive design for each integration transaction, including the functional analysis of the external system (such as SAP R/3).

  • Software Configuration and System Test – Implement the completed design into a series of functioning business transactions through NLINK® configuration. Then test each integration transaction from end to end.

  • User Documentation – Develop all necessary end user documentation to support the implementation and use of NLINK and the configured transactions so that the delivered solution is not dependent upon Junot Systems for support.

  • Acceptance Testing – Hands–on testing of the systems and configured transactions by the end users.

  • Production Implementation – Installation of the NLINK software, followed by a testing and monitoring period in the production environment.

  • End User Training – Provide professional training on the administration and support of the delivered NLINK integration solution.

To better understand the steps involved in a successfull NLINK integration project deployment we recommend that you review the NLINK Deployment White Paper. It describes the process and benefits of an NLINK deployment and, in addition, it will show how quick and easy it is for functional business users to perform what would otherwise be an impossibly complex integration project.

TRAINING SERVICES
Our training curriculum is focused on developing three key skills: Configure, Administer and Extend. Taught by our highly experienced Implementation Consultants, Junot Systems' NLIN® Training courses can be provided either at your location or at Junot Systems' Houston offices. Class sizes are normally limited to six students.

We currently offer the following training courses:

  • NLINK Configuration Training – Participants learn how to Configure their own integration solutions using Junot Systems' NLINK Configuration Module (NCM). At the end of the course, students should be able to easily understand any pre-configured NLINK meta-database and be able to create their own NLINK configurations from scratch. This course focuses on generic configurations and does not attempt to teach any but the most high-level of concepts for a specific external system (such as SAP). This training course lasts three days and requires no prior IT experience although familiarity with business processes and the capacity for logical thought will help.

  • NLINK External Systems Configuration Training – Participants learn how to Configure the External Systems component of NLINK, for a specific external system (such as SAP). Since each external system is different (i.e. SAP is completely different from Oracle Financials) the details of how to configure a particular NLINK CoNNector or eXtender can vary from system to system. These training courses last no more than two days and assume that you have already completed NLINK Configuration training and have some rudimentary level of familiarity with the specific external system.

  • NLINK Administrator Training – Participants learn how to Administer the NLINK product, including installation, error handling and analysis, contingency procedures, security procedures, and general maintenance activities. This training class lasts one day and assumes some level of knowledge and experience of Microsoft Windows systems administration.
