BACKGROUND
Struxure is IHS Intermat's catalog authoring and management software application. It provides the content management functionality to develop and maintain accurate and consistent MRO part descriptions. These descriptions in turn become the basis for creating part records in the customer's MRO catalog. Struxure's powerful cataloging features include item creation and maintenance tools, list-making capabilities, standard and custom reporting features, network capabilities and global standardization.

FUNCTIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
The NLINK Struxure CoNNector offers many advantages over other approaches when needing to integrate with Struxure:

• Fast to Implement. - The NLINK Struxure CoNNector is configuration-based requiring no custom coding and uses the NLINK Configuration Module (NCM) to rapidly configure the NLINK meta-database.

• Easy to Change. - No coding is required to implement the Struxure to ERP connectivity. Since the configuration is stored in the NLINK meta-database and manipulated through the NCM modifications and changes are simple and quick to implement.

• Robust and Reliable. - The NLINK Struxure CoNNector is a mission critical addition to your company’s information systems. Store and Forward and Error Recovery are just two of the built-in reliability features that are not available in other approaches.

• Field Proven. - NLINK and Struxure have been successfully field deployed at many locations throughout the world for a number of years.

• Expandable. - Unlike other approaches, the NLINK Struxure CoNNector is built on a full Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) product. It can be expanded to include connections to legacy systems, best of breed applications, the Internet, and more.

• Business Rules. - The NLINK Struxure CoNNector provides more than just message delivery. It allows the user to build business logic into any transaction. Business logic is easily configured and changed for evolving business requirements, without programming.

• Data Combination. - The NLINK Struxure CoNNector lets you easily aggregate and manipulate data from multiple sources before producing an outbound message to one or more other systems.

CoNNectors, eXtenders, the NLINK Server and NLINK Modules are components of a total environment for delivering process integration within and between companies. The NLINK product suite has been independently certified on Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista as a pre-requisite for continued inclusion in the Microsoft Certified Partner Program. As you would expect, NLINK operates equally well on Windows 2008 and Windows XP.
