Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a widely used network monitoring and control protocol used to share information between network devices. Data is passed from SNMP agents, which are hardware and/or software processes reporting activity in each network device (hub, router, bridge, etc.) to the SNMP manager (workstation console) used to oversee the network.
With the NLINK SNMP eXtender, Junot has simplified the challenge of NLINK Server applications management. The NLINK SNMP eXtender allows out-of-the-box integration with commercial Enterprise Management Systems (EMSs) via SNMP or can be used in conjunction with the NLINK Management Module.
The NLINK Management Module, used in conjunction with the SNMP eXtender, can be configured to retain historical data and visually correlate data to simplify the complex tasks of planning for growth and ensure optimal performance of the NLINK system for end users.
