The purpose of this annual event is to promote interoperability tests among the OPC Foundation members' respective OPC products. The interoperability test process requires that OPC vendors run a series of standard tests for each combination of an OPC client and an OPC server product. The results of these tests are collected and displayed in the OPC Foundation product catalog.
"Junot Systems' participation in the annual North American OPC Interoperability (IOP) workshops held by the OPC Foundation really demonstrates our commitment to delivering quality OPC software products," said Peter Slater, President of Junot Systems. "The IOP workshops provide an excellent opportunity to further ensure compliance of our OPC products and we believe that end users should demand this level of certification from their OPC vendors."
